1. What we store

Your account — email address and a one-way hash of your password (we never store the password itself). If you sign in with Google or Microsoft, we receive your email address and name from them, not your password.
Your conversations — the questions you ask and the answers returned, so you can reopen them later.
Usage counts — tokens and questions per day, to apply your plan's limits and to bill paid usage.

2. Where your question goes

To answer you, Manthan sends your question to a search layer we run on our own server, which queries public search engines (currently Google, Brave and DuckDuckGo) and then fetches the resulting pages. This means the text of your question leaves our server and reaches those search engines, subject to their own privacy policies. We do not attach your name, email or account id to those searches.

Please do not put personal, medical, confidential or client-identifying information into a question. Treat it like a public web search, because in part that is what it becomes.

3. What we do not do

We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.
We do not train a model on your conversations. Manthan has no model to train — it selects text from sources rather than learning to write.
We do not use third-party analytics or tracking pixels on these pages.

4. Cookies

One signed session cookie keeps you logged in. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.

5. Retention and deletion

Conversations are kept until you delete them or close your account. Billing and usage records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. To delete your account and its conversations, write to support@quantforge.co.in.

6. Security

Traffic is encrypted with TLS. Passwords are hashed. API keys are stored encrypted. Access to the production database is restricted to the operators of the platform.

7. Your rights and contact

You may request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by writing to support@quantforge.co.in.
